Performed bridge and roadway approach design for the replacement of the Belt Parkway Bridge over Ocean Parkway in Brooklyn , New York . The bridge carries a very high volume of traffic on the Belt, and it spans over Ocean Parkway in the heart of Brooklyn . The existing two span bridge was replaced with a longer and wider three span bridge. The bridge was made continuous with semi integral abutments to eliminate deck joints.
