PERI Formwork Systems is one of the largest providers and manufacturers of standardized formwork and scaffolding systems in the world.  Their main production plant is in Weissenhorn, Germany. PERI’s large world-wide combined numbers of units lead to favorable manufacturing costs and reliable quality due to a high level of automation.  PERI’s formwork systems are being used increasingly in New York City for the construction of several high rise buildings.

SJH provided structural review of the designs of PERI’s formwork and scaffolding systems for numerous buildings in New York City.  The systems included platforms for floors, vertical formwork for walls and columns, travelling platforms for vertical construction and other complex formwork for structures of various configurations, including large cantilevers.  In addition, SJH reviewed the shoring systems, and provided drawings and details for the sequence of removal of shoring for the construction of several buildings.
