SJH Engineering was the structural design consultant for the repair of terra cotta façade
replacement and steel lintel replacements. Based on probes the existing steel substrate
was inspected and based on that information repair details were developed. Repair
details had to consider the stability of the existing masonry during construction. The existing steel was checked for weldability. Innovative steel connection details had to be developed to retain the existing structure and to provide adequate stability of the masonry to remain. |
