The project involved replacement of the roof over the Auditorium, window replacement and other rehabilitation including asbestos abatement. As the consultant to the General Contractor, SJH was involved in the inspection and investigation of existing roof over the Auditorium and the development of recommendations for its repair/ replacement. The existing roof was supported by 2" concrete planks spanning over steel trusses. Some of the planks were damaged due to construction and their structural integrity was evaluated by inspection and analysis. |
