During this project, SJH Engineering, P.C. prepared all required MPT drawings, including general notes, as required to support the Client’s permit applications for the construction of the duct banks in New York City for the Cross Hudson Cable Project. This included working with survey base maps from two different sources, adjusting the drawings to reflect additional lane closures as required by the Client’s work plan to place the concrete for the duct bank, NYC Economic Development Corporation emergency egress requirements. Additionally, SJH developed drawings for the temporary support of excavation measures (SOE) including details required by the NYCDEP for crossing a large sewer, altering drawing formats to conform to NYCDEP standards.
